B Street Theatre

B Street Theatre, Sacramento's Professional New Works Theatre, has
had a very busy summer. As a result, you can catch three great plays there this August.

“The fact that we have three shows in one month, is a testament to how passionate we are at producing plays here at B Street Theatre.” said Producing Director Buck Busfield.

The Big Bang laughs all the way to September.

The response to B Street's production of The Big Bang, the raucous comedic musical by Jed Feuer and Boyd Grahm, which plays on their B2 stage, has been so overwhelming that it has been extended through September 11. The B Street box office recommends ticket buyers to purchase tickets well in advance, due to the huge demand in tickets.

“Hate Mail” Regional Premiere, August 14 – Sponsored by Tower Records

B Street is pleased to present Hate Mail, Bill Corbett’s and Kira Obolensky’s comedy which follows the turbulent romance of Dahlia (Dana Brooke), a moody artist, and Preston (Kurt Johnson) an affluent ne'er-do-well, who engage in a hilarious cross-country duel of personalities. The story of their relationship is told through a series of incendiary notes, e-mails and letters the pair send each other throughout their adventures.

Bright Ideas, through August 7

Eric Coble’s zany comedy Bright Ideas, the story of two parents who will stop at nothing to get their child into the right pre-school, runs through the first week of August and closes on the 7th.

B Street Theatre is located at the corner of 27th & B Streets in Midtown Sacramento, behind Stanford Park Baseball Field at 27th & C Streets.
