The See A Play campaign premiered August 25, 2001, with the Run for the Arts. The program at the time included commercial ads, print media support and sponsorship by Sacbee.com, Sacramento.com and the Sacramento Bee. Today the campaign is being focused on creating greater visibility and accessibility of live theatrical events in the Sacramento region through the website seeaplay.com. The message is “It's better live. Experience the magic of theatre.”
